Yes, but don’t take my word for it. So what’s new? Here is a run down of the new features of Blog Rush 2.0.
The dashboard
There is a slick new dashboard available in blog Rush. John Reese has added some very nice features to the admin section. I love the new graphics representing traffic in your network.
The Buzz meter is very cool. This will help me improve my blog titles (headlines) and my CTR. Basically it will tell me real time what people want to read, based on my title.
Reports
You can run custom reports based on a date range. Very nice!
My Blog
This section allows you to add, delete and modify your blogs. I updated my widget “flavor” today.
Filters
The new filtering system gives you more control of what type of content shows up on your site and also controls what you want to syndicate out to the network.
These are all very good features. John has an extensive video on all the new features. Check it out for more information.

In the Blog Rush Dash board there is a message about low CTR due to gaming of the system by some users, “Click- through rates are very low right now due to problems with some users cheating the system.”
There are several sites giving out information on how to exploit the BlogRush software.
I hope John’s team can address and resolve these issues very soon, or it will really compromise the effectiveness of the tool. So far John as been up front with his communication about some of the issues BR has faced since it’s launch.

First thing this morning I logged into my Blog Rush Bash account, checked the dashboard, and saw I had earned 165 credits from my traffic and 608 from my referral network today. About 30 minutes later my stats now say I have 155 credits from my traffic and 597 from my network. My traffic dropped 10 credits and my network dropped 11 credits. Why are they subtracting numbers? This is strange.
After writing this post, I looked around to see if other bloggers were seeing the same issues with credits. No luck. However, I did read a very good post from problogger, about Blog Rush and the realistic expectations of this new service.
The Art of money has another view. Blog Rush will suck traffic from smaller blogs and consolidate the traffic with much larger and established blogs.
For now, I will with hold judgment. Only time will tell how this will play out.

Update***
They have since fixed this issue.
The Blog Rush widget is no longer showing on my site. See the message in its place.

Many bloggers have announced explosive growth 10 levels deep. There is a lot of buzz about Blog Rush so it would not surprise me if the shear volume of traffic is taking a toll on their servers.
Stats are still showing on my Dashboard, which is a good sign. John’s crew was quick to fix the stats issue at launch, so I am sure they are working as fast as possible to fix this issue.

I just read a post by Jens at slymarketing.com, where he noticed a nice spike in traffic to his site but was not sure of the source. After some research, he found the Blog Rush network to be the source of the newfound traffic. Jens’s theory is the Blog Rush group added his blog’s feed to the network to “prime” the system for launch. John Reese later confirmed this in comments on the Jens’s blog. If you ask me, it’s all good news for slymarketing.com. Jens got a nice traffic spike from a creditable source. I would take that deal any day of the week.
