By default the links on your Twitter profile page are set to no-follow, which means Google's page rank will not be passed on from Twitter to your URL. However, it seems that Twitter status pages will pass on Google PR. I found this very good blog post describing how it works and why you should always place your Keywords at the start of your tweet.
